We’re well into 4th Quarter and our thoughts turn to consumer shopping behavior this time of year more.  Some recent studies revealed that 73% of consumers intend to do the majority of their shopping online and 22% express that they had no intention of visiting physical stores this year to do their holiday shopping.  But even in the case of those that will be visiting physical stores this shopping season, 70% report that their phone or other mobile device will likely be the first step in their purchase journey.

We also know that, increasingly, mobile is the first screen of a purchase journey and purchase values are actually higher now on mobile, in shopping apps, than on desktop.
